  • Grief Awareness Training- a partnership workshop with Grief Guide that equips participants with practical information, skills, and insights to support others through loss.

  • NAMI TraumaInSight

A free, self-paced, comprehensive course that is for anyone interested in trauma-informed care for children and adolescents. Participants can save their progress and return to the training at any time to accommodate flexible schedules.

  • QPR Suicide Prevention Training

A 1-hour evidence-based public health model for individuals to learn how to recognize the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide.

An 8-hour course designed for individuals interested in learning ways to identify and assist those experiencing a mental health crisis. There is a 2-hour online pre-course work that would need to be completed the day before the live (6-hour) presentation.

  • Ending the Silence

Our Ending the Silence program offers three presentations to choose from: one for middle and high school students, one for their parents/guardians, and one for school faculty/staff. Participants learn the warning signs of mental health conditions, discover strategies to improve mental health, and discuss the importance of open communication about mental health concerns.

CALM Conversations
Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) Conversations is a one-hour presentationintended for a general audience and requires no prior training in mental health and suicide prevention, and focuses on how to talk with at-risk individuals.

Recovery Support Workshops

Peer-to-Peer

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is an 8-session evidence-based educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery.

Family-to-Family

NAMI Family-to-Family is an 8-week evidence-based educational program for adult family members, partners, friends, and significant others of individuals living with mental health conditions.

It is a designated evidence-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition. NAMI Family-to-Family is taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there and includes presentations, discussions, and interactive exercises.
