McHenry County Suicide Prevention Task Force
The McHenry County Suicide Prevention Task Force’s mission is to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention, provide education, implement prevention programs and provide support for those affected by suicide within McHenry County.
The Suicide Prevention Task Force (SPTF) is co-led by NAMI McHenry County (NAMI MCH) and is a between collaboration between NAMI MCH, Northwestern Medicine, Independence Health and Therapy, McHenry County Coroner’s Office, Crisis Services McHenry County, McHenry County Sheriff’s Department, Crystal Lake PD, McHenry PD, Pioneer Center for Human Services, Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church, Thresholds, Rosecrance, McHenry County MHB, Samaritan Counseling Center, Survivors of Suicide Support Group, Recovery International, Owens and Associates Counseling and Therapy Center LLC, School District 158 and other community members.
